Friends of Kelsey Lane

Friends of Kelsey Lane started in February 2025. The aim is to regenerate Kelsey Lane, which is a very neglected ancient highway leading away from Kelsey Square in the heart of Beckenham. The lane is about a mile long, so there is still much to do. The plan, the replant, mainly with native species and wildflowers, will increase habitat diversity, and provide shelter and shade for the many people who walk the lane daily. It is very much a community project and working groups, including children get together regularly for clearing and planting sessions.
