About BEN

The Bromley Environment Network affectionately known as the BEN.

We are a group of local Bromley community groups, charities and other organisations that share a belief that a greener, healthier and more sustainable borough is good for everyone.

We aren’t all eco-ninjas – but we do all think that the best way forward is establishing a useful local network to share interesting, helpful information amongst groups in the borough of Bromley to help make it a nicer place to live.

Caring about…

Here are some of the areas we care about and want to work together on:

  • Trees, planting and wildlife
  • Reuse, recycling and waste reduction
  • Renewables and saving energy
  • Transport and road usage
  • Clean air initiatives
  • Building and planning

What does being a BEN member mean?

Our Mission Statement: To bring together community groups from across Bromley Borough to share information, inspire and support local people, fellow community groups, and the Council to make our borough a greener, healthier and more sustainable place to live, both now and in the future.

As a member of BEN you will be part of a wonderful network of local community stakeholders, organisations, charities, community groups and more. As such you will be alerted to relevant public consultations, funding opportunities, local case studies and opportunities for collaboration.

You’ll receive a regular newsletter updating you on any relevant activity happening in the Borough. Though the BEN Newsletter, you will be able to share (and receive) information about local projects, resources, campaigns, funding opportunities, resources and tips relevant to our Mission Statement.
